Methodist Lacrosse Cruises to 18-3 Win Over LaGrange

LaGRANGE, Ga. - The Monarchs used a 7-1 lead at halftime to cruise to the 18-3 win over LaGrange College on Sunday.
Methodist used four different players to score the first four goals of the game in five minutes to jump out to the 4-0 lead. LaGrange got on the board in the 15th minute of play, but the Monarchs took a 7-1 lead at halftime after goals from
Abby Harmon,
Michaela Myers and
Dawn Sanderson.
The Monarchs continued to dominate the second half out scoring the Panthers 11-2 in the final 30 minutes. Harmon led the Monarchs with four goals and an assist while
Jasmine Stephens,
Amber Jurkovac and
Alexa Veeder scored three goals a piece.
Kayleigh Sheets,
Brittany St. Jacques,
Kate Kaus, Sanderson and Myers finished the scoring with a goal each.
Lindsey Cosgray made three saves for Methodist while Catherine Proctor had 13 stops for LaGrange.
The Monarchs will host Lancaster Bible College on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
