Box Score FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - Washington College (Md.) took the early 4-1 lead before cruising to the 19-4 lead over the Monarchs on Tuesday.
The Shorewomen scored in the first minute of play, but Methodist came back and tallied a goal at the 2:32 mark of play from
Jasmine Stephens. Washington responded with four straight goals to lead 4-1 before
Abby Harmon fed
Amber Jurkovac for the Monarchs' second goal. The Shorewomen went ahead 9-2 before Harmon and Jurkovac connected again with 5:07 remaining in the half. Washington scored once more before half to lead 9-3 at the break.
Washington opened the second half with seven goals before Harmon got a goal of her own with 3:13 to go in the game. The Shorewomen scored twice more to earn the 19-4 win.
Jurkovac led the Monarchs with two goals while Harmon scored one goal with two assists. Stephens added the other Methodist goal.

Lindsey Cosgray had nine saves in goal.
Washington had 13 different players score with six players leading with two a piece. Amber Madore, Tara Hart and Stephanie Seibert shared time in goal.
The Monarchs will travel to Georgia this weekend for games against new USA South members LaGrange and Agnes Scott.
