CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Methodist women's golf team moved up a spot and finished sixth at the Charleston Southern Wendy's Invitational. The Monarchs shot 319 for the second day in a row to post a score of 638 (319-319) overall.
Coastal Carolina won the tournament with a 586 finishing 19 strokes ahead of second place College of Charleston.
Paige Caldwell shot a 77 in the second round to tie for 20th overall with a 156 (79-77).
Alana Swain shot 160 (81-79) to tie for 26th and
Gretchen McLean tied for 31st with a 162 (77-85).
Kelsey Magnine shot 163 (82-81) to tie for 37th and
Susan Martin finished up tied for 46th with a 166 (84-82).
The women's golf team will finish their fall season at the Ross Resorts Invitational Oct. 26-27.
