Box Score FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The Methodist men's soccer turned up the offense and finished with a 4-0 win over Chowan University.
The Monarchs (4-7) had four shots in the first half, but it was just before halftime when senior

Scott Smith slipping behind the defense to score the Monarchs' second goal.
With less than five minutes to play, a loose ball popped back out to the top of the 18 where Brennan picked up a goal of his own. Less than a minute later, freshman
Joshua Eustis was wide open in the middle of the field and scored from 35-yards out to give Methodist the 4-0 lead.
The Monarchs finished with 18 shots to the Hawks' four. Methodist freshman
Ryan Gill made one save while Josh Cenci had three saves for Chowan.
Methodist kicks off USA South Athletic Conference action on Wednesday when they host Averett at 4 pm.
