Box Score GREENSBORO, N.C. - In the first game of the Guilford College Classic, Milligan College (3-0) jumped out to an early lead and went on to earn the 3-1 win over the Monarchs.
The Buffaloes scored the first goal of the game in the 17th minute of play and took a 2-0 lead on a goal with five minutes remaining in the half. Milligan came back in the second half and scored their third goal on a shot from the top of the box to go ahead 3-0. The Monarchs (0-2) responded with a goal of their own five minutes later from junior

Kyle Beach made four saves through the first 54 minutes of play while sophomore
Cody Schaffer finished the game with one save. Buffaloes' keeper Bryan Newbold had one save in goal.
The Monarchs will be back in action at the Guilford Classic on Saturday when they take on Gallaudet at 1 pm.
