FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The Methodist women's golf team hosted Saint Mary's College and Olivet College on Friday in a tri-match on the MU golf course "down back." With all three schools nationally ranked, the Monarchs prevailed with a score of 331.

Methodist holds the top spot in the most recent Golf World/NGCA poll while St. Mary's was ranked third and Olivet 10th. The Monarchs led the tri-match while St. Mary's and Olivet were 16 strokes back both finishing with a 347.

St. Mary's Natalie Matuszak led the event with a 79. Holly Shupe paced the Monarchs with an 80 while Taylor Lanning and Kaitlyn Sharpless both a shot an 83. Andrea Daly finished with an 85 and Allyson Burak shot an 89. Jenny Sullivan shot a 95.
