JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. - The Methodist women's golf team finished with the Jekyll Island Women's Invitational championship on Sunday.
The Monarchs shot 951 (315-319-317) over the three-day tournament, 32 strokes better than second place Illinois Wesleyan.
Susan Martin placed second in the tournament with a 232 (79-79-74).
Paige Caldwell finished seventh at 239 (80-78-81) and
Alana Swain finished in a tie for 10th with a 242 (77-79-86).
Kelsey Magnine tied for 14th with a 244 (79-83-82) and
Gretchen McLean placed 16th with a 245 (80-85-80).
Andrea Daly competed as an individual with a 248 (82-81-85) finishing 17th overall.
With the Methodist men's golf team finishing first in the men's Invitational, the Monarchs took the sweep.
The Monarchs will compete in the Tina Barrett Longwood Invitational Apr. 5-6.
