GREENEVILLE, Tenn. - The Methodist women's golf team shot 604 (298-306) to win the Agnes McAmis Memorial on Tuesday.
Belmont Abbey College shot 296 in the second round to move within one stroke at 605 (309-296) but the Monarchs held on for the win. Carson Newman College finished third at 611 (304-307).
Susan Martin won the event finishing the second round at -3 for a total score of 140 (71-69).
Paige Caldwell tied for fifth at 148 (73-75).
Alana Swain shot 152 (75-77) and
Andrea Daly finished with a 164 (79-85).
Kelsey Magnine shot 173 (86-87).
Allyson Burak finished up with a 163 (78-85) competing as an individual.
The Monarchs, currently ranked No. 1 in the Division III poll, look forward to the National Championship May 11-14.
