Box Score MURFREESBORO, N.C. - The Methodist men's soccer team won their second consecutive game with a 3-0 shutout over Chowan University Wednesday afternoon.

Jeff Fallier put the Monarchs on the board with a goal in the fifth minute off of Clayton Newton's corner kick. Eirik Nordseth added two unassisted goals in the 20th and 40th minutes to give Methodist the 3-0 halftime lead. The Monarchs dominated shots 25-10 and finished with the 3-0 win.

Kyle Beach made three saves in goal for Methodist. Ethan Phelps had four stops for Chowan.

Methodist will be back in action next Wednesday when they host St. Mary's College of Maryland at 4 p.m.
