FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- With the threat of cold and wet conditions throughout much of the day on Saturday, several Methodist University athletic teams have been forced to alter their schedules.
 
The baseball team has cancelled Saturday's game with N.C. Wesleyan and will now play a doubleheader today (Friday) beginning at 4:00 pm. Sunday's 2:00 pm contest is set to go on as scheduled as of now, but is subject to change.
 
Both the men's and women's tennis teams, set to take on Guilford on Saturday at 1:00 pm, have postponed those matches. Both will be made up later in the season, though that date has yet to be determined.
 
Softball has also announced that Saturday's doubleheader with Guilford has now been moved to Sunday and will still begin at 1:00 pm.
