HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- The Methodist tennis team, playing for the third day in a row, defeated Rhodes College, 5-3, on Monday evening in Hilton Head.
 
The win kept the Monarchs perfect on the season at 7-0, while the Lynx fell to 1-3. Methodist gained an early 2-1 advantage after wins at Nos. 2 & 3 doubles and posted wins at each of the first three singles matches to seal the win.
