FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- The Methodist men's tennis team moved to 5-0 on the season with a 9-0 whitewashing of Marywood on Friday afternoon.
 
After winning all three doubles points, the Monarchs rolled through singles play as MU dropped just six total sets in the six matches, including Duncan Miller and Greg Patterson each recording 6-0, 6-0 wins at Nos. 1 and 3, respectively.
 
Methodist is back in action on Sunday when it takes on Averett at Arnette Street Park beginning at 1:00 pm.
