WILSON, N.C. Methodist University women's golf "B" and "C" teams played in the 2024 Barton Intercollegiate, from March 18-19. The Monarchs on the "B" squad came in sixth overall, out of seven teams, while the "C" team came in seventh.

THE LOW-DOWN
- Cracking the top-10 on the individual leaderboard, at T-9, was Emily Skowronski of the "B" team, with a 22-over par 166. She opened with a seven-over par 79 before coming back on day two and scored a 15-over par 87.
- Also, on the "B" team was Eva Denten, who came in 17th place, and she posted a two-round score of 27-over par 171. In the first round, she recorded a 16-over par 88 then she shaved off five strokes, 11-over par 83, during her second round.
- Chloe Kraus, playing for the "B" team, finished the event with a grand total of 31-over par 175, which was good for a tie in 18th overall. On the first day, she carded an 11-over par 83 but a tough second day saw her go 20-over par 92.
- Leading the Methodist "C" team was Jamie Rush, who came in 24th place, with a 34-over par 178. She shot a 17-over par 89 in both rounds.
- The final scoring member of the "B" side was Carla Menendez with a 35-over par 179, which got her 25th overall. After scoring a ten-over par 82 in the first round, she wrapped up her second time on the course with a 25-over par 97.
- Anna Wicklum, who played on the "C" team & competed in her first collegiate event, posted a two-day total of 36-over par 180 and came in a tie for 26th. On day one, she scored a 12-over par 84 then carded a 24-over par 96 on the second day.
- Rounding out the last two members of the "C" team are Rouyun Lim and Elizabeth Franchetti. Lim, who finished in 28th, shot an 88 (+16) in round one followed by a 95 (+23) in the second round, which gave her a grand total of 183 (+39).
- Coming in 32nd overall, Franchetti finished the event with a 191 (+47). She carded a 96 (+24) and a 95 (+23), respectively, in her two rounds.
- Megan Kestner was the final member of the "B" team. She scored a 18-over par 90 in the round one before withdrawing from the event.
