V. Lodging and Travel Information

Lodging: Teams and individuals that qualify for the 2009 NCAA Division III Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships will be housed in villas and townhomes within the PGA Village.  All arrangements can be made through the Perfect Drive Golf Villas at PGA Village.
Room Types:
Guest Room - $69.00* - Standard hotel room with two full beds, mini-refrigerator, coffeemaker, some with screened patios,  and full bath.

One Bedroom Villa - $99.00* - 875 square feet. Fully equipped kitchen, living room, screened patio, master bath (some with whirlpool tubs), two queen beds.

Two Bedroom Villa - $169.00* - All have four beds (two queen and two full), two full baths, fully equipped kitchen, living room and screened patio.

*per night. Plus 11.5% tax. Valid May 2009.

V. Championship Details

A. Registration - May 10

Teams should register at the Historical Center at PGA Village between 5 pm and 8 pm Sunday, May 10th. Teams will receive a registration packet and have the opportunity to check into their villa(s) in the same location. There are also opportunities to tour the Historical Center throughout the day.

The Learning Center will also be open for practice on Sunday at $10/player for range balls all day.

Registration will also be available Monday morning at the golf course for teams arriving late.

B. Range Practice

During the practice rounds, the men's teams can practice at the Learning Center range while the women will practice at the PGA Village range.

Once the tournament begins, everyone will practice at the PGA Village range with those competing on the Wanamaker and Ryder Courses at the South end and those copmeting on the Dye course at the North end of the range. The PGA Village range closes each day following the final group's start.

The Learning Center range will be open each day for participants following their rounds. The range will close each night at 10 pm.

C. Team Social - May 11

On Monday night, there is a social beginning at 7 pm. Teams should eat dinner prior to the event, but snacks will be provided. Everyone should arrive between 6:30 and 6:45 pm to find seating for a Q&A and demonstration with Tim Rosaforte, PGA Tour television analyst, and a PGA Tour member before visiting exhibits and demonstrations with Trackman and Titleist.

Dress is golf casual with the opportunity to test out clubs and participate in a longest drive contest and closest to the pin contest.

D. Team Pictures - May 14

Teams will have an opportunity to pose with the Wanamaker and Ryder Cup Trophies prior to the NGCA banquet Thursday night. Each team will be offered a scheduled time slot to have their photo taken beginning at 6 pm and running up to the banquet. Teams can sign up for their time slot during registration Sunday, May 10.

E. NCAA Banquet - May 12

Women are expected to dress business professional at the NCAA banquet. Dinner will be provided for the NCAA official party of six per team (five golfers plus coach) or two per individual selected (individual plus coach).
