Gene Clayton Tennis Center

Renamed in the fall of 2014, the Gene Clayton Tennis Center is home to the USPTA accredited Professional Tennis Management (PTM) program at Methodist University. A facility, which features a field house and eight lighted hard courts, is located on the east-end of our beautiful, 600-acre campus, adjacent to the Richard L. Player Golf Center, Price Softball Field and Armstrong-Shelley Field. The field house contains coaches offices, locker rooms, elevated spectator seating and a racquet stringing/repair shop. Monarch tennis boasts a long history of success. The men's team has accumulated 13 conference championships and made 5 NCAA national tournament appearances while the women have garnered 24 conference championships and made 10 NCAA national tournament appearances.
