The Methodist University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics initiated the Methodist Athletic Hall of Fame in 1997. The Hall of Fame currently has 27 classes with 113 members and  Teams of Distinction.

Purpose

The Athletics Hall of Fame recognizes and honors former outstanding student-athletes, coaches, and administrators of the athletics program for their accomplishments at Methodist University.

Nominations

To be nominated, the inductees must be either athletes, coaches, or administrators who have compiled an outstanding career at Methodist and/or since leaving Methodist. Inductees become eligible for the prestigious honor five years after completing their eligibility and must have been of good character. Coaches and administrators become eligible for nomination two years after leaving the department unless they have 15 years of service or more in which they would become eligible immediately upon their departure.
