Sports Information Mission
The function of the office of Sports Information is to provide the media and the public with current information regarding men's and women's varsity athletics in order to generate understanding, promotion, and support for the intercollegiate athletics program.  The office of Sports Information is also responsible for the department's branding and marketing initiatives as well as home game event management supervision.

Media Services:
The Methodist University Sports Information Office provides updated rosters, current team and individual statistics, box scores, and statistics for every game of the season. Photo arrangements, media passes, and broadcast inquiries should be made through the Athletic Communications Office.

Credentials & Parking:
Although the Methodist Sports Information Office does not issue formal media credentials, members of the media are still required to contact Michael Spratt, Sports Information Director, no later than two days prior to game day. All media will be admitted by showing the proper credential of its media outlet. All parking is free at Methodist University.

Interviews:
All requests for interviews of players and coaches are to be made through the Sports Information Office at least 24 hours in advance. Home phone numbers for student-athletes will not be released. Head coaches and selected players can be made available to the media following each game.
