GREENSBORO, N.C. - Guilford held a 1-0 halftime lead, but the Monarchs scored three in the second half to take the 3-1 win. Methodist moves to 2-4 while Guilford falls to 2-4 this season.
The Quakers took the 1-0 lead early on in the 14th minute of play. Methodist junior
Ashley Kolano tied the game on a rebound off of the goalkeeper following freshman
Jillian Reed's corner kick three minutes into the second half. Junior
Erica Nath gave the Monarchs the lead on a goal in the 54th minute on the assist from freshman
Christine Ellington. Nath scored her second goal of the game in the 73rd minute after the long ball from sophomore
Amber Jurkovac.

Sara Altman had eight saves for the Monarchs while Amber Stapler made seven saves for Guilford.
The Monarchs will host nationally ranked Lynchburg on Saturday at 2 pm.
