PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - The Wisconsin-Eau Claire women led the field of 21 teams in the first day of the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship.

Wisconsin-Eau Claire is in first at 312 (+24) while St. Lawrence is in second at 318 (+30). Methodist and DePauw are tied for third at 321 (+33).

Torie Ives (Wisconsin-Eau Claire) and Stephanie Mingos (Rhodes) led the individuals with an even 72. Susan Martin (Methodist) is in third with a 73 (+1).

The tournament continues on Thursday with the second round of play.
