FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) has announced the 2008-09 Academic All-America Women's At-Large team.  Methodist senior Sara Dickson has been named to the second team.

Dickson is the tenth Methodist student-athlete to earn Academic All-American honors from CoSIDA, and the first since 2005. A senior business administration major with a concentration in PGA Golf Management, Dickson balanced a 4.01 cumulative grade point average while helping the Monarchs to two of their last 12 National Championships.

Originally from Providence, R.I., Dickson averaged 85.1 strokes over the past four years.   Earlier this spring she was named a Methodist Senior Scholar Athlete and a USA South Academic All-Conference honoree.
