FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -
The USA South Athletic Conference has announced its All-Conference awards for men's basketball. A total of 24 student-athletes have been named to the USA South All-Conference teams for men's basketball with three Methodist players recognized.
Methodist sophomore Tanner Carnes was named to the second team after averaging 16.3 points per game this season to go along with 7.3 rebounds per game. Carnes led the team in points, rebounds and blocks in his first season with the Monarchs.
Senior Tyler Sigman and sophomore Mark Jernigan were honorable mention selections by the USA South. Jernigan averaged 14.3 points while Sigman finished his final season with 13.2 points per game.
Also, the USA South recognized an All-Sportsmanship Team, consisting of one member from each competing school. All awards are voted on by the men's basketball coach at each institution. Jernigan was selected to represent Methodist on the All-Sportsmanship Team.
