Box Score LAURINBURG, N.C. - There were just two goals in 110 minutes and both came in the first five minutes as Methodist and St. Andrews finished with a 1-1 tie.

Jillian Reed gave the Monarchs the quick 1-0 lead after receiving a pass from Danielle Minichello outside the box and hitting the left corner just 1:43 into the game. The Knights came back and tied the game less than two minutes later with a shot to the far post.

Methodist out shot St. Andrews 35-6, but could not find the game-winner. St. Andrews' goalkeepers combined for 18 saves while Mary Wittenburg had one stop for the Monarchs.

Methodist will be back in action next Friday at Greensboro College.
