Box Score MARYVILLE, Tenn. - Playing in its second game in as many days, the Methodist women's soccer team ended up tying host Maryville, 0-0, in double overtime on Saturday afternoon.

Coming off a double-overtime loss to Covenant the day before, the Monarchs (5-6-2, 3-3-1 USA South) narrowly outshot the Scots (8-2-2, 6-1-1 USA South) by a 15-14 margin and held an 8-4 shots edge in the final 65 minutes of play.

MU goalkeeper Sarah Hayden made five saves and was credited with her first shutout of 2013. MC's Mandy Marshall stopped six shots.

Methodist will wrap its nine-game stretch of USA South matchups when it hosts Mary Baldwin on Oct. 19 at 2:00 pm.
