RALEIGH, N.C. -- Fifth-ranked Wisconsin-Oshkosh knocked down 10 three pointers and shot 47.6 percent from long range in a 76-36 win over the Methodist women's basketball team on Sunday afternoon in a contest played at Meredith College's Weatherspoon Gymnasium.

Emma Melotik led the Titans (9-0) with 24 points, knocking down 6 of 8 three-point attempts. Eliza Campbell added 11 points, and Isabella Samuels pulled down 12 rebounds.

Kayla Goldsmith led the Monarchs (1-7) with eight points on 4 of 5 shooting and six rebounds.
Tyzarea Alexander had five points and four boards and
Christian Sanders scored seven points.

The Titans raced out to a 20-8 lead after the first period behind some hot shooting early on. The Monarchs fared better in the second quarter, scoring the first points of the period and only getting outscored 18-14.

Wisconsin-Oshkosh held MU to 34.2 percent shooting and held a 44-19 advantage in rebounding.

Methodist is back in action on Dec. 29 when it takes on Huntingdon at Piedmont College beginning at 4 pm.
