CHARLESTON, S.C. Methodist's Division III men's tennis program concluded its spring break trip with a visit Saturday to Division I The Citadel, and though the Monarchs put up a fight, the host Bulldogs swept the singles and doubles bouts for a 9-0 match victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Jacob Oehser and
Wynn Johnson battled the Citadel's No. 1 doubles pairing, Willem van Zyl and Gavin Stewart, before falling, 8-4, to the Bulldog duo.
That match would be the closest one of the afternoon as the home team finished off the other doubles matches in 8-2 and 8-0 fashion, before taking each of the singles bouts in straight sets.
Henry Murray at No. and
Max Linder at No. 3 both captured two games during their singles matches.
