- A half inning later, Caleb Greene got the ball rolling with a double to right center before advancing to third on a Tufts pass ball. - Methodist did not give up and scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth off three hits. The first run scored when Will Dagenhart stole second, causing the catcher to throw down to second to give Justin Blunt an opportunity to steal and score from third.
