RALEIGH, N.C. Methodist University men's tennis won its second consecutive USA South Athletic Conference match after beating William Peace University 9-0 on the road.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Methodist swept doubles as the pairs of Matthew Hurley and Harry Crokam (No. 1) won 8-3, Drew Guarnieri and Decklan Rayner (No. 2) won 8-2, and Wills Belser and Cameron Roth (No. 3) won 8-0.
- Rayner secured the only sweep, in singles action, with a 6-0, 6-0 victory on court four.
- Both Crokam and William Johnston loss one game in their respective flights. On court two, Crokam was victorious 6-0, 6-1, while Johnston walked away with a 6-1, 6-0 dub, in No. 6 singles.
- Winning 6-2, 6-0, was Belser on court three while Hurley claimed a 6-4, 6-2 victory in the bout between No. 1s.
- Brady Mendler played in closest singles flight, No. 5, of the day. Following a 6-4 win in the first set, Mendler was bested 1-6, in set two, to send the match into a super tiebreaker round. It was a back-and-forth battle but, in the end, Mendler was the victor, 1-0 (10-6).
