ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. Taking on No. 1 seed North Carolina Wesleyan University in the semifinal round of the USA South Tournament, the fourth–seeded Methodist women's tennis team fell by a score of 4–0 on Friday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Battling Bishops claimed the doubles point after capturing wins in the No. 2 and No. 3 matches. Caitlin Tihanovich and Katie Sechrist were topped 6–1 in the No. 2 pairing, while Veva Willocks and Willette Morales were defeated 6–1 by North Carolina Wesleyan's No. 3 duo.
- The first singles match to conclude was the No. 4 matchup, in which Sechrist fell in sets of 6–1 and 6–2. Just after, Willocks dropped the No. 5 match with set losses of 6–3 and 6–1.
- The Battling Bishops clinched their spot in the tournament final with a win in the No. 1 match, as Emma Hulicki dropped the first set by a score of 6–1 and the second set by a score of 6–2.
MATCH POINT
This concludes the 2025 season for the Methodist women's tennis team. The Monarchs earned
a pair of All–Conference honors after another excellent regular season.
