Monarchs Drop Narrow Road Match to Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md.  The Methodist women's tennis team battled in a tightly contested non-conference matchup on Friday afternoon but ultimately fell just short in a 4–3 decision against Salisbury University at the SU Outdoor Tennis Center.

Following the match, assistant coach Brett Karpman praised the team's performance and effort.

"I thought it was another great showing by the women's team," said Karpman. "The match came down to the wire and could have gone either way. I couldn't be more proud of the team's effort and fight as we continue to build momentum heading into conference play."
