FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. Methodist University Athletics is proud to announce its 2025-26 Scholar-Athletes of the Year, recognizing nine student-athletes who achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA during both the fall and spring semesters.
The distinguished group features representatives from across the department, including five student-athletes from women's programs and four from men's teams. Six of the nine honorees were underclassmen, highlighted by five freshmen who excelled in both the classroom and competition during their first year as Monarchs.

Jenna Rutledge was the lone repeat selection, earning Scholar-Athlete of the Year recognition for the third time in her collegiate career.
The annual award celebrates Methodist student-athletes who demonstrate exceptional dedication to academic excellence while balancing the demands of collegiate athletics.
