GREENWOOD, Ind.  The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its 2025-26 Academic All-District Men's At-Large Teams on Tuesday, with four Methodist University student-athletes earning recognition on the NCAA Division III squad: Beau Brewer, Nick Garza, LJ Oby, and Daniel Wright.
 
Brewer represented the Monarch men's golf program, while Garza, Oby, and Wright earned recognition from the Methodist men's lacrosse team.
 
For Brewer, Garza, and Wright, the honor marks the second CSC Academic All-District selection of their careers. Oby, meanwhile, received the distinction for the first time.

Brewer added another accolade to an already impressive postseason award haul. The senior recently earned PING Second Team All-America honors after concluding his collegiate career with a standout season. He posted a career-low scoring average and was named USA South First Team All-Conference, helping lead the Monarchs to another successful campaign.
 
Garza and Wright once again anchored the Methodist defense throughout the season. Garza started all 15 games in which he appeared, recording 24 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers. Wright, a two-time USA South Second Team All-Conference selection, started all 17 games and totaled 30 ground balls and 16 caused turnovers.
 
Oby enjoyed a breakout sophomore season, finishing second on the team with 56 ground balls and 24 caused turnovers. Appearing in all 17 games with two starts, he also contributed offensively with 10 goals and seven assists.
 
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
 
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the Divisions II and III Academic All-America programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
