2022: Did not appear in any games this season for the Monarchs.

2021: made eight appearances (one start) on the mound as a freshman for MU, pitching a total of 8.2 innings…named to the MU academic scholar athlete honors (earning a 3.5 GPA or above for the year).

High School: Awarded honorable mention all-conference in the Big Eight conference for baseball in 2018…earned Big Eight all-conference and pitcher of the year in 2019 for baseball…earned all-state for baseball in 2019.
 
Personal: Son of Sherry and Chad Johnson … second cousin Benji Johnson played at UNC Chapel Hill, was drafted by the Atlanta Braves and progressed as high as AAA in the Braves' minor-league system … Tyler is majoring in business administration and sport management.
