2023 Cross Country Roster
Biography
High School: A part of a team that won four state championships in cross country… two-time outdoor state championships… four-time indoor track state runner-ups.
Personal: Son of Somer and Craig Fortenberry… majoring in management with a minor in sport management… member of the Methodist's track & field program.
2022: Competed in five events, recording a best 8k time of 30:10.0 at the Lehigh Paul Short Run. His 30:20.0 time at the USA South Cross Country Championships earned him a 25th-place finish.
2021: Competed in three races during the 2021 season … earned USA South Athletic Conference Rookie Runner of the Week (9/27/21) …two back-to-back top 10 finishes at the N.C. Wesleyan (8k, 29:15.2) and Monarch (8k, 28:43.48) Classics to open the season … best time was recorded at the Queen City Invitational with a time of 26:39… was a MU Scholar-Athlete.
