2011-12: Competed in the shot put and weight throw during the indoor season winning conference championships in both events... Competed in the shot put, discus throw and hammer throw during the outdoor season... Won the conference championship in the shot put and finished runner up in the discus.
High School: Participated all four years in both football and track and field... State Champion in shot put.
Personal: Major is Pre-Pharmacy... Parents are Charlene and Albert Kirkland... Favorite song is "Hometown Hero" by Big K.R.I.T... Favorite television show is "Jersey Shore"...
