Biography

2015: Tallied nine hits in 24 at-bats in 17 games... started five games for the Monarchs...scored twice and recorded three hits in Methodist's 13-3 win over Eastern on Mar. 4... was named to the 2014-15 USA South Academic All-Conference team.

High School: Four-year starter and letterman for Eastern Guilford baseball... was a three-time all-conference pick... team MVP in 2011... earned the "Golden Bat" award in 2012... named captain as a junior and senior... also competed in basketball and football for three and one years, respectively... started each year of participation... earned two varisty letters for the cross country team... earned all-conference honors, the Coaches Award and was named captain in basketball in as a senior.

Personal: Parents are Jim and Tine Gunn... majoring in physical and health education.
