Armstrong-Shelley Baseball Field

Armstrong-Shelley Field is the home of Monarch baseball. It is the namesake of George and Carolyn Armstrong and Bruce Shelley. The Armstrong's donated the money for the lights and Shelley was the Monarchs' first coach and is now in the MU Athletic Hall of Fame. Few parks can rival Armstrong-Shelley Field and few programs can rival the Monarchs success on the field. MU has captured 21 conference championships and made 24 appearances in the NCAA tournament with 1 national runner-up finish. The facility includes spacious dugouts, enclosed batting cages, an air-conditioned press box, concession stand, public restrooms, seating for 700, a practice infield beyond right field and a state-of-the-art scoreboard. Construction of the Armstrong-Shelley Fieldhouse was completed in the summer of 2015.
