The Monarch softball team plays at one of the South's finest NCAA Division III softball facilities, Price Field, which was renamed in the spring of 2014. Named in honor of Karen and Don Price, Price Field is located on the lower level of the 600-acre campus adjacent to Armstrong-Shelley Field and the Gene Clayton Tennis Center. The facility has a top-notch playing surface surrounded by covered dugouts, batting cages, bullpens, a press box and boasts a seating capacity of 400. Future enhancements to the facility will bring a field house with coaches offices and locker rooms. MU softball has won 15 conference championships and made 6 NCAA national tournament appearances.
