2015: Saw action in 16 games, starting all but one... finished 8-2 with a 3.05 ERA... was second on the team in innings pitched with 85.2... earned the 4-0 win over LaGrange on Apr. 26 after pitching a scoreless game with only four hits with five strikeouts, clinching the USA South Conference Championship for the Monarchs... tallied 67 strikeouts, good for second on the team... was named to the all-conference first team as a pitcher... earned the title of USA South Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week on Apr. 27.

2014: Pitched in 12 games, including nine starts … was 5-4 with a 3.00 ERA … led the team with 72.0 innings pitched … went at least 7.0 innings in 6-of-9 starts … struck out 44 while walking just 12 … also saw time as an outfielder and designated hitter ... earned the victory in 1-0 win over Emory on Feb. 22 with 5.1 scoreless relief innings and five strikeouts ...  tossed 7.0 innings of one-run ball, allowing six hits with four strikeouts in a 4-1 win at Averett ... allowed one run (0 ER) on two hits and a walk with six strikeouts as MU defeated LaGrange, 9-3.

2013: Played in 37 games as a position player, including 31 starts … hit .267 in 116 at-bats with three doubles, a triple and one home run … drove in 18 runs and scored 16 times … also made five appearances on the mound … was 1-1 with a 3.77 ERA in 14.1 innings pitched ... scored three runs versus Roanoke on Feb. 2 … went 4-for-5 with two RBI in the opener of a doubleheader at CNU … was 3-for-4 with a run scored in an 11-4 win at Maryville ... was 2-for-5 with a grand slam in 10-6 win at Lynchburg.

High School: A 2012 graduate of Nansemond River … played baseball and golf.

Personal: Parents are Donnie and Laura Johnson … majoring in business administration with a concentration in professional golf management.
