Biography
2022: Competed in all six events, recording a best 5k time of 25:05.0 at the Queen City Invite and a top 6k time of 30:31.3 at the USA South Cross Country Championships (good enough for 38th place).
High School: 2020 & 2021 Women's Cross Country Conference Champions … earned All-County all four years … made All-Conference senior year … was the 2021 SAC Conference Female Champion … the 2021 SAC Conference Runner of the Year and the 2021 Sampson County Sports Club Player of the Year for Women's Cross Country … earned the 2022 Math 4 Honors Award … a member of the Beta Club, Spanish Honors Society, and CTE Honor Society … graduated in the top 10% of her graduating class …awarded the Sampson County Academic All Stars all four years (90 or above average) … made the honors list and Dean's list every semester in dual enrollment at Sampson Community College … earned the October Shout Out-for good behavior … a Golden Leaf Scholar.
Personal: Daughter of Lynn and Donnie Cannady … majoring in business administration with a minor in sport management.
