Jackie Stickley joined the Methodist University staff in the fall of 2020 to serve as the softball program's pitching coach. Jackie brings a wealth of knowledge after having experience coaching and leading a team to multiple southern divisional championships and appearances in the conference championship at Fayetteville State University. She served as the head softball coach at FSU from 2014-2018 and compiled an impressive 47-19 conference record and produced 14 all-conference players, including current Methodist softball coach, Alex Wickham Allaman.
Stickley received a Bachelor's degree in business administration and one in sport management from Hastings (Neb.) College where she played on the softball team. Stickley boasts a career .334 batting average and .387 on base percentage. She then went on to receive her MBA (Masters of Business Administration) and is currently the Executive Director of the Fayetteville Animal Protection Society, a no-kill, nonprofit animal shelter in Fayetteville.
Coach Jackie is from Riverside, California, and now resides in Lillington, North Carolina, with her husband Tyler and son, Gordon along with their two rescue dogs, Buddy and Quincey.
