Biography

2010: Started every game becoming a strong midfielder for the Monarchs...Totaled 11 points with nine goals and two assists...Ranked second on the team with 22 draw controls... Also picked up 15 ground balls and caused five turnovers.

2009: Appeared in every game, including 12 starts, during her freshman season... Scored two goals and added 22 ground balls and six caused turnovers.

High School: Lettered two years in lacrosse at Liberty High School... All-District honorable mention.

Personal: Major is Social Work... Parents are Rick and Caryl Kaus... Favorite song is "Artist in the Ambulance"... Favorite television show is "Nitro Circus"... Favorite movie is "Transformers"... Favorite athletic team is the Pittsburgh Penguins... Most admired athlete is Sydney Crosby... Dream job is to be a paleontologist... Can't live without Starbucks... This past summer Kate went on a cross country road trip.
