Coach Terry Wickham joined the staff of Methodist track and field programs in October 2019, and was named sprints, long jump, and triple jump coach.
Prior to joining Methodist, Coach Wickham was head track and field coach of both boy’s and girl’s track programs at Pine Forest High School (Fayetteville, N.C.) for 15 years. In those15 years 20 Regional Champions, 45 All Regional Athletes, 66 Conference Champions, 115 All Conference Athletes, 23 All State Athletes, 8 NCHSAA 4A State Runners-Up, 15 NCHSAA 4A State Champions, 3 National Champions, Conference Men’s Track Coach of the Year four times.
Prior to Pine Forest High School Coach Wickham was Head Girl’s Track Coach at Edison High School (Richmond Ohio,) Early Bird Champions, - 2003-2005, Jefferson County Champs, 2003-2005 District Runners-Up, 2004 OHSAA 4A two State Qualifiers first in school history, 2005 OHSAA 4A State Runner-up.
Coach Wickham graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio with a degree in Elementary Education. He also attendant Muskingum University and Kent State University. As a college-athlete, Wickham competed in both indoor and outdoor track and field teams as a sprinter in 60 meter dash (PR. 6.89) 100 meter (10.61) 200 meter (21.44).Â
