2008-09: Competed in the 800m, mile, 3000m, and distance medley events in his freshman indoor season... Earned All-Conference honors at the Mason-Dixon Conference Championships, coming in fifth place in the 800m with a time of 2:01.12.

High School: Competed four years in track and cross country... Named All-Conference and All-State in both sports.
