Campbell joined the staff of the women's basketball program in the fall of 2020, after three years as an assistant coach at Fayetteville Christian Academy, where he coached JV and varsity players in the boys and girls programs. He was named an FCA Assistant Coach of the Year after the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons. Coached one All-American nominee, three all-state players and 10 players that would sign to play collegiately.

During that same time span he also served as the head coach of Team Unified (AAU) in Laurinburg, North Carolina.
