LaToya Rene Robertson began working with the Monarchs as an assistant coach in 2021. Robertson has a background in performance improvement and motivation and mindset, and has worked in corporate and collegiate settings helping organizations master their minds to reach maximum results.

Robertson is a well-known speaker on the topic of goal management and student engagement. Her TED Talk entitled Vision = Victory and various written works have been used in training across the globe.

LaToya is a North Carolina native and 2009 alumna of Methodist University. At Methodist, she earned her bachelor's in music, and later at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth she earned her Doctorate in educational leadership & policy studies.
