Leigh Matthews joined the Methodist women's basketball program as an assistant coach in 2022. She takes on the role of recruiting future Monarchs and assisting in any aspect for the success of the women's basketball program. Prior to joining MU, she coached and assisted local recreational, AAU, and JV teams. Matthews is a North Carolina native and graduate of Campbell University in Buies Creek, N.C., with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sports Science.
