Monique Sharpless joined the Methodist University women’s basketball program as an assistant coach in the fall of 2023. Her responsibilities include recruiting future Monarchs and contributing to the overall success of the team. Prior to joining MU, Sharpless served as the head coach at Jacksonville High School in Jacksonville, NC. As a former collegiate athlete, she competed in both basketball and volleyball at Fayetteville State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Criminal Justice.
