Michael "Josh" Guidry arrived at Methodist prior to the 2018 season. Guidry is an assistant of both the men's and women's soccer team at Methodist. Guidry is an active duty senior Warrant Officer in the United States Army with over twenty four years of service.
Guidry has played soccer at the US Armed Forces level and is currently on the All Army and US Armed Forces Men's Soccer coaching staffs. He recently served as youth club soccer technical director for Wiregrass FC in Enterprise, Alabama, and is currently the U-17 Boys Classic Head Coach with Liberty Point Soccer Club in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Guidry has coached numerous high school programs in the past and is fully qualified with the NFHS to coach in Alabama and North Carolina. He has a USSF Class D, USC GK Level 3, and is a first year graduate student with Ohio University's Masters in Soccer Coaching program.
