Sarah Edgerly joined the Monarchs coaching staff before the start of the 2024 season.
She moved to Fayetteville in 2023 and played professional indoor soccer for the Fayetteville Fury.
Before coming to Fayetteville, Edgerly lived in Richmond Hill, Georgia, where she taught third grade and was an assistant coach for the Richmond Hill High School girl's basketball team.
Her coaching career began in 2015, as she coached U10–U19 soccer teams.
Prior to coaching, Edgerly played collegiate soccer at Florida Southern College. She was a team captain and was the team's leading scorer in her final year. She was also named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
Sarah graduated from FSC with a degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently a first grade teacher. She is married to Noah Edgerly, who is in the military and is stationed in Fayetteville.
