High School: Four-year letter winner in soccer at Harnett Central ... served as a team captain for senior year ... earned sportsmanship award twice ... also played four years of basketball, garnering three varsity letters.

Personal: Daughter of Kris Smith and Tina Zaia-Smith ... mother, Tina, played on the inaugural women's soccer team at Campbell University ... majoring in athletic training.
